Karen P. Sampson, Esq., APM is an attorney and accredited professional mediator in Moorestown (Burlington County) New Jersey. Her practice is focused on Family Law, Divorce Mediation, Collaborative Divorce, Estate Planning and Estate Administration. She strives to help her divorce mediation and collaborative divorce clients resolve their differences in a calm, non-adversarial and efficient manner, promoting communication with a forward thinking angle so the parties could move on with their lives.
Ms. Sampson graduated cum laude from the State University of New York with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She earned her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law which included Tax Honors with Distinction. Ms. Sampson has been admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1996.
Ms. Sampson received her initial Divorce Mediation Training in 2005 from the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education and her initial Collaborative Law Training in 2010 from Collaborative Solutions, LLC. She attends hours of advanced training in both of these areas on an annual basis.
Ms. Sampson is a past-president and former board member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM), the state’s largest organization dedicated to mediation. She is a past-president and former board member of the South Jersey Collaborative Divorce Professionals (SJCDP) and a founding member and council member of the New Jersey Council of Collaborative Practice Groups (NJCCPG). She is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP).
Ms. Sampson is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association, and the Camden County Bar Association. She has served as an Early Settlement Panelist for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington Vicinage, and is on the New Jersey Roster of Economic Mediators for family law matters.
