Karen Paone Sampson graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1987 where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Computer Science. She worked for several years in the computer technology field before attending law school at Rutgers University where she earned herJuris Doctorate and Tax Honors with Distinction in 1996. She is licensed to practice law in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and she has successfully completed mediation training through the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Although Ms. Sampson doesn’t hesitate to be a zealous advocate for her client, she understands the importance of trying to resolve matters between the parties. She advocates mediation, when applicable. She also realizes the stress and emotional impact that personal legal issues have on her clients and their children. Ms. Sampson understands that every case is unique.
Ms. Sampson is currently admitted to the Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases in New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Burlington County Bar Association, where she has been appointed to serve as a member on the Technology Committee. She is also a member of the Probate Committee. For the past nine and a half years Ms. Sampson has been appointed to serve as a member on her township’s Land Development Board. She was also appointed by her township committee to serve as the first Land Development Board liaison member to her township's newly formed Environmental Advisory Committee. |
