                 MARITAL AGREEMENTS

If you and your spouse are able to communicate with each other in good faith and if you both have full disclosure of all financials, you may be able to work out a settlement agreement prior to filing a complaint for divorce.

In this event you would both retain individual attorneys to protect your respective interests.  The attorneys would assist in providing representation, advocating your individual interests, helping to resolve issues and preparing the agreement.  After the agreement is signed one of you would proceed throught the courts to obtain the divorce decree.  An agreement with your spouse in this manner would require good communication and full disclosure.

If you wish to find out more about this and how it might pertain to your situation, please call our office for a consultation.*

* Telephone or in-person consultation appointments are available.  Consulatation fee applies.  Call us at 856.439.0068.
